Intuitive Guidance to help you rediscover your SELF in the midst of your own life

One Door Closes…

Another door opens, or so they say. I recently had to bid farewell to my beloved Sister Circle during a time of turbulent change and I won’t lie, it hurt. I was fortunate enough to have been invited to join a secret circle of incredible women with the intention of Sister Funding those heart-projects we hold so dear. Sister Funding I believe Sister Funding is a British version of Gifting Circles, which originated in The States and featured wealthy women joining forces and pooling resources to make things happen without need of banks and public loans. In the US the ‘invite sum’ was £5000 I believe, and money was the name of the game. Here in the UK, the theme had shifted slightly toward a slightly more gentle, loving and holistic viewpoint; enabling those who were not so wealthy to join forces, master The Law Of Attraction, manifest their ‘Gift’ and…

My Magical Manifesto

Like many of you I have been pondering over ‘the state of the nation’ this week. The news and politics in general makes for a gloomy outlook, which led me to thinking lofty thoughts such as ‘What real changes would I like to see in my world? (Note I said my world not The World). And I drew up a bit of a list, which I shall share with you now. I wonder how many there are? Work to Live – Don’t Live to Work. Wherever possible try to find a way to make your living according to your own particular skills and values. We all know people who are miserable at work, not that much happier at home and taking antidepressants like vitamins. And we all know how unhealthy this is for us, but claim ‘it’s always been this way’ and have no clue what to do about it. Well, for a…

The Valuing of Mothering

On 3rd April it will be my first-born’s 18th birthday. A landmark ‘Coming of Age’ birthday for him, but also an incredible milestone for me, as his mother. For April 3rd marks my own milestone – 18 years as a mother, a Role that did not come easily to me and a journey that has taken me from the heights of newborn ecstasy through the lows of post natal depression and onto the learning curve that is parenthood. Thus this time of the year holds strong memories for me, not least because my son was eight days late and took three days to arrive after making his arrival imminent. Like many mums, I can count off the ‘anniversaries’ throughout the whole week, the anticipation, the warning contractions, the long hours of nothingness followed by the excruciating trip to the maternity unit, only to be sent home as I was only…

Hidden Pathways Intuitive Guidance Special Offer

Spring Equinox ‘Subtle Balance’ Reading   As we near my favourite time of year, The Spring Equinox, a time when the Suns Light is shared equally across both hemispheres and we all feel the warm touch of the sun’s light; we can all feel ourselves emerging from the cocoon of darkness which held us during Winter, as we travel mindfully upward, like new growth emerging from tiny seeds, pushing forward toward the light.   I have been asked to share my very special Spring Equinox Balance Readings by so many of my clients, who love them and return year after year to access the wisdom of the Turning year. Incorporating a perfect blend of Intuitive Guidance, Tarot and Oracle cards,  peppered with Ancient Runic Wisdom as needed, these readings are both deep and transformative. If you are struggling to step out of the darkness, and are filled with fear or…

Equinox Celebrations

All Change The clocks go forwards on 27th and the days begin to feel noticeably longer. We are filled with that mysterious ‘energy’ that tempts us outside, gets us excited and promises that  Spring Time is just around the corner. Of course we have been slowly recovering sunlight since Dec  21st but the Spring Equinox really gets our juices flowing. You may not realise that we experience a state of equality on the equinox itself: A perfect balance of daylight and darkness before we tip into growing warmth and light, rushing headlong toward the June Solstice. It’s just as well, too, because here in the Northern Hemisphere the winters can feel awfully long. (Sometimes it’s hard to imagine we actually live further North than Calgary and Warsaw! Thank goodness for the gulf stream which brings us warm waters from the equator, without it we would be popsicles!)   Getting Away This…

Spring has Sprung and New Arrivals are on their way!

New Arrivals? How do you tell your children that there is a new baby on the way? It can be one of the most difficult conversations you will ever have: and it is vital that older kids don’t feel abandoned and toddlers don’t feel scared that they have been replaced. Under fives will hardly notice and simply accept the news once delivery is imminent however, by the age of 8 or 9 your youngsters will have some understanding of ‘how’ a baby’s made and you may well find yourself having to answer some more complicated questions. It is advised that you encourage the child to lead the conversation and be as honest and open as you can be. They will soon lose interest and wander off to something more interesting, so don’t be afraid of overwhelming them, they will soon let you know when you are boring them!   Share…

Looking Good Feeling Great

Looking Good, Feeling Great. Happy New Year, Happy New You You have survived the mayhem of the festive season, over indulged, overspent, got overwrought and are So Over it! But…with the New Year upon us, now is the time when we traditionally set to making our New Year Resolutions and try to put right all our wrongs. My advice! Don’t! To hang with New Year resolutions; statistics say most of us break them by Valentine’s day anyway. Instead of a list of ‘Fixes’ and ‘Quit’s’, why not go for something more natural, organic and, well, easy? Positive Planning Think about making a plan for ‘This time next year I will…..’ this leaves you open to creating improvements, letting go of bad habits gently and setting realistic goals that you might just manage. We all know we should eat well, exercise more and drink less, so how about creating a Personal…

It’s Tapping Time Again

It is the launch of the 8th Annual Tapping World Summit, held by Joe and Jessica Ortner of The Tapping Solution. Today I listened to the first Workshop from yesterday: Manifesting Your Greatest Self: Using Tapping to Bring Out The Greatness Within You As I sat listening and tapping I realised just how much habitual Stress and Tension I have been harbouring in my body for years. Not that this comes a surprise, exactly, I always knew I was stressed and unwell, but somehow, I never really understood the part I played in both creating and maintaining it for so long. I have been Telling My Story for so long and Living the life of a Victim for so long – all while working to help others get over their own blocks and create better lives. Somehow, I had not managed to connect the dots in a way that would actually HELP MYSELF. My partner…

It’s Only Stress….

is possibly the worst thing anyone can say to you when you are feeling lousy. But how many of us realise exactly what Stress really is and how it affects our body?   I was lucky enough to attend a talk by well known Nutritional Therapist and Yoga Teacher Charlotte Watts at The Isbourne Centre in Cheltenham last night. As a volunteer I get to sit on some incredible talks and workshops and believe me it is well worth lugging a few chairs and tables around if I get to see such fabulous speakers.   Charlotte was warm, open and madly passionate about her subject, in fact in our little chat afterwards I commented on her ability to prevent herself going off on a tangent several times during the talk, as it would have been so easy for her to follow her enthusiasm down so many tributaries of information that run through her incredible mind.…
